Asked by nishanmillie.
I have been told by my mother-in-law and a few friends that it's really hard to have two babies very close together and I should wait until Millie is a least 2 and a half/at nursery school before trying again... has anyone else found this?

is she ready to potty train yet?

Asked by prozacfairy.
hi well with the warm weather and summer looking set to be pretty good thought weather would be perfect time to potty train ms pink. shes 20 months old and and very bright or laeast her speech is great and also she keeps trying to take her nappies off. was wondering if there are any definate signs that your chils is ready? i dont want to leave it too late- my sisters little boy is 3 this saturday and at nursery and still not near being potty trained and shes worried- i dont want to get to the same point with lil! also any tips? my mum and aunt said to leave to run round in long t shirts for 1st week or whatever and follow her round with a potty which i am keen to do as i think pull ups sound a total waste of time (arent they just glorified nappies?) and then put knickers on her after that and ofcourse have the potty with us at all times. OH is worried bout the carpets (yeah i know i already told him he is turning into his parents lol) what did other people do? please im open minded so any tips hit me with em x x x x

Dummy!!!! Thumb!! What should i do?!!!!

Asked by loveubaby.
Hi there, I want to ask you mummies if your baby is using a dummy, do you sterile or clean it and hoe often? and I also want to ask how many hours aday does your baby use it? I dont like it at all but I have no choice with my baby she is a thumb sucker and I think it is more hyegenic using a dummy and the problem that she was using it much less and was sucking it only while she is falling asleep and them immediately through it out but the last couple of nights she s been crying abd waving her thumb, i think she wants it even when she is sleeping now!! what should i do? i know that both thumbs and dummies are very bad not only for teeth but for disfiguring the roof of the mouth as wee!! my sister is a dentist and she freaked my out of all the possible complications of sucking either of them!! please i need your advice to get rid of both of them! what should i do ? she is only 12 weeks old now!!
