Caesarean Section

Asked by katiehannam.
Plenty of women go on to have natural births after a c-section and plenty have repeat caesareans. It all depends on you, your Obstetrician who will probably see you a few times during your antenatal checks and your midwife. Once you fell pregnant and see your midwife for the booking-in visit, mention your desire to have another c-section. Each maternity unit will have different policies and you will be advised on what yours is. Most maternity units will try to accommodate mum's wishes especially if they are based on a bad experience with a previous birth.

WHAT WAS THIS? HELP CONFUSED?

Asked by nifagurgleEditor.
last night I was at my aunties and I felt like I was peeing myself slightly but I couldn't control it, it was only a little bit though so I thought I'd better go to the toilet and c what it was, when I looked at my underwear they were a bit wet, there wasn't loads there just 2 wet patches I smelt it to see if it was urine but it deffo wasn't I haven't had anything since though so I thought I'd phone my midwife this morning and tell her to c what she says, she said if it was my waters they would keep breaking constantly and my underwear would be soaking she said it cant just start, then a little bit then a little bit later its all at once and she said it was probably urine but it didn't even smell, I know she is a midwife and knows best but it just doesn't seem right to me lol.

Breast feeding / Bottle feeding How did you choose?

Asked by lolalollipop.
Hi Ladies, Your help please. Im currently 35+1 weeks. All my pregnancy I've being toying with the idea of breastfeeding. And with only a few weeks to go I'm still not decided. My mum and sister never breastfed. And I honestly know no one who has brestfed successfully. Every day I swing between being really positive and focused about the experience and then negative and not wanting to even try it. Just wondering could you give me the cold hard facts. Most books I read on breastfeeding are very one sided. So could you all if you don't mind give me your experiences of your time choosing to breast or bottle feed. Lola x
