Ovulating or not??

Asked by mummy2finley.
Hey, Can anyone tell me, if when a woman isnt ovulating, does she still get her periods??? God I sound so dumb!? But my cycles are very irregular, one month it can be as long as 38 days then other months it can be the 'average' 28 days, so I'v started using ovulation tests, have been testing now for the last 6days (started 11days after my 1st period) still with no LH surge present?? But I know I will have a period at the end of the month. So do I ovulate?? Why arnt the tests picking this up?? I feel so stupid or like I'm doing something wrong!! Please help!! aaarrrggghhhhhhhh! x

Kerry Katona and smoking during pregnancy

Asked by nifagurgleEditor.
Some of you may have noticed the news story about Kerry Katona not being able to give up smoking during her current pregnancy. I was wondering what you all thought of this? Do you think it's bad? Or do we get bogged down with what you can and can't do during pregnancy? Did any of you smoke during pregnancy and what was the reaction? Would love to know your thoughts? Nifa - gurgle editor

Opinions on sending toddlers to a nursery!

Asked by DanniPink.
Hello, i was just wondering what peoples opinions are on sending a toddler to nursery, i work 4 days a week but i already have child care help from family but i was now considering putting my daughter in to a nursery/playgroup for 1 day a week just for her to be able to socialise with other children, My daughter will be 2 the end of this month and has just hit her terrible two's so i am a bit worried that if i send her to nursery they will say she is to misbehaved or her naughtiness will rub off on the other kids. She has not really socialised with other kids before and still find's it difficult to know what sharing means and if other children want to play with her toys she seem's to think they are spoilt :S I dont know if it would be a good idea to send her to get her use to socialising with other children or to keep her at home in case she is to naughty??? Opinions please :) xx
